I was not a fan of the Rubbish......way too sweet for me. There was a strong presence of sweet caramel malt and very little roast. The beer poured a nice clear amber with very little white head and no lacing. The mouthfeel was medium in body with subtle carbonation. Overall....not for me.

Had on cask. A remarkably complex beer for it's smaller size. A nice little zing or spiciness noted with a well rounded malt complexity. Their write-up noted Scottish ale feel and with the malt forward taste it did have that that, but it was more. A good spiciness and the oats added a nutty quality too. Good feel with some softness, but not great. I bet this would good well with food. As I got towards the bottom of the glass I kept thinking, "I like this".
