Tasted 5/22/15 on draft at the brewery, from a tulip glass.
Aroma - mild wheat graininess, sourness barely perceivable. No hops or diacetyl.
Appearance - light straw yellow, medium-high cloudiness, very little head that dissipated quickly.
Flavor - quite sweet, with very subtle lacto tartness. The front-end malt sweetness has a wheat character, and lingers long. The beer does not dry out as may be expected from a sour beer. Little to no hop bitterness or flavor. The name seems to infer a much stronger sourness than is actually present. In reality, it is a very subtle and very one-dimensional lacto tartness. No perceivable brett, pedo, or other souring bacteria.
Mouthfeel - Pleasant, moderately full body, mostly from effervescence that could use a tad more carbonation.
Overall - This beer is very pleasant to drink, and a good start, but could be better. It seems a bit under-attenuated, and although the very subtle tartness may carry a broader appeal, the impression is a limbo between a pale wheat and a good Berliner Weisse. The tartness needs a boost in pucker-ability, and more dimension. Worth a second try, but nothing to write home about.
