The beer pours a nice dark copper with a medium head, the smell is understated. I get alcohol and a slight pine on the nose. It's a very hop forward brew, i think a bit of honey would round it out nicely. The mouthfeel is on point for the style. It's quite good but ultimately not very unique.

Pours a hazy gold colour. Smells like sweet malts, orange peel, and s little spicy. Tastes like it smells, sweet malts, orange peels/zest, and slightly sweet malts.

At the taproom into a snifter, pours a thick dull cloudy copper amber. With a decent off white head, good retention but not a lot of lacing. Nose has some sweet pine, dark juicy orange, caramel....pretty sweet despite the significant ibu's. This is a heavy hitter, but sits a bit heavy on the tongue, coating it even...not much hoppy liveliness. Carb is on the low side...wet finish. Pretty heavy feel. Lots of juicy flavor and the profile is fairly good. I'm not in love but it's good enough for a free afternoon.

L: Pours brilliant copper under a sticky off-white 2” foam stand that takes 3 minutes to drop to 1/3 its original size.
S: Pine, fruit, citrus and earth.
T: Fruit, citrus, bread crumb with a lemony bitterness. The bitterness is medium high, hop flavors are high, malt flavors are medium to medium high.
F: Very creamy, medium to medium full body. Slight warming.
O: A nice big IPA that pairs nicely with spicy food.
