Pathfinder is beer number 13 in our Barn Quilt series. Seasonally inspired, this beer consists of a tart, oak-aged saison that was aged on a modest amount (1lb./gallon) of cranberries and then conditioned on spruce tips before packaging

Feel like this around Christmas would be dope. But alas a summer bottle at the share will suffice. Opaque brownish orange pour with a white head. The pine cuts through it all in the nose, contrasting nicely against the cranberry, sour wild yeast, tart oak, and musings of orange and lemon. Taste is too much pine, wow, so much pine! But then after the initial pine burst, the rest of the elements come in, especially the tart cranberry and orange. It's all a little much, but the vision is unique and execution is solid. Feel is very tart with slight acidity, pine and oak tannins are felt in the cheeks. Tart pine, the lasting impression here
