On tap at the brewery. Served in a plastic cup.
Appearance - Bright pinkish red body. Nice white head.
Smell - Very floral. A little bit of lactic acidity. Has a bit of a berry aroma, too.
Taste - Just like the smell, it's floral up front. Berry comes next, though. Sour, but not anywhere near as sour as other Wakefield Berliners, which I consider a good thing. Slight graininess im the back and a lingering pucker in the back of the mouth.
Mouthfeel - Softly carbonated, which is an interesting approach. Light body. Sour, but not oppresively so.
Overall - First official Wakefield review. Impressive.
