32 oz. growler poured into a wine glass.
Appearance - Dark brown with an ample head. Great retention. Nice lacing.
Smell - Nutty. Brown malts. Sweet smelling caramel. A bit of milk chocolate, but not very roasty.
Taste - Brown malts. Nutty. A little toasty. Even some hop flavor in the back end. Kinda sweet, but not too much.
Mouthfeel - Medium body, kinda light for a Baltic Porter. Well carbonated.
Overall - I expected something much sweeter. Reminded me more of a big brown ale, but still not bad.
