32 oz. growler poured into a snifter. Black body with a nice khaki head. Wispy surface and thick collar. Smells like banana, dark chocolate. Cinnamon spice is light. Taste has a lot more cinnamon, which is nice. Chocolate. Pepper is faint. Phenolic banana finish. Heavy and sweet. Medium carbonation. Tasty, but I'm still not a fan of the phenolic flavors.

Poured from a 32 oz growler into a St. Bernardus chalice. Quite the interesting take on the Russian Imperial Stout with hints of cinnamon, chocolate, and mild chili pepper heat. The three aforementioned hints are presented in a precisely-tuned equilibrium upon the palate via velvety texture. Three words come to mind: subtle, complex, horchata. Each sip begs further investigative consumption. I was pleasantly surprised by the high ABV (13%) as it is well-concealed. Connoisseurs of the RIS-style should undoubtedly enjoy this offering though the bold and curious will be equally rewarded.

Had on draft at the brewery. Really nice thick creamy chili stout with a great balance of flavors with cinnamon. A little undercarbed for my ideal liking but great none the less!
