the last if my "OG" bottles. nice brew, definitely porter, but bourbon? seems more scotch...super peaty. not amazing but very good. the "OG" society was a bit of a joke and some of the beers uper meh. this is kind of middle of the road for what we got. not worth chasing down lie some other job but good enough.

First batch, released to OG Society.
Thin, sweet, and one-dimensional. A bit of roast comes through, along with a fair amount of bourbon. Carbonation is low, head almost non-existent. Tastes like a (very) poor man's CW BBS.

750 mL bottle. Black, but a little translucent. Smells nutty. Dark roast. Light bourbon. Not a lot, really. Taste has whiskey up front. Very bright. Lots of nutty malts. Milk chocolate. Cola finish. Pretty light in body, which is surprising. Well carbonated. Even though I remember the base beer, this is still surprising. Very nutty and light.
