Pours a frothy dense orange, lots of haziness and thick foams forms at the rim. fruity sweetness in the aroma, still has a dandy smell but the piney bitters seem to be faded compared to the nice guava aroma. Taste is pretty damn good, has a lot of the earthy qualities now with a thick mouthfeel, creamy for sure and thick as hell for an IPA but its not a knock here, its nice. A heavy malt backbone takes over in the mouthfeel, not my favorite quality in an spa but the tropical juice qualities are still present, they mix well to give that sweet taste throughout the glass. Overall I would order this again if I had the chance, its good but I probably wouldn't trade for it in the future.

12oz draft at brewery. Appearance: Cloudy golden orange, with a thick frothy white head and nice lacing. Has the turbid look of a NE style IPA. Aroma: Tropical fruit burst of mango and pineapple, fading to a backbone of dank pine resin. Very nice. Taste: Starts with a moderate malt sweetness, with a light saltiness, that turns to a fruity pineapple and nectarine and a slowly building strong bitterness, that finishes with a grassy touch. Very smooth. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a touch of creamy body, and a moderate carbonation. Finish: Strong grassy and lightly fruity bitterness lingers long after the finish, but avoids being sharp. Well rounded. Overall: A lighter, almost wheat like IPA that doesn’t have the typical caramel maltiness. Tropical fruit and grassy hops dominate the flavor profile of this beer, while remaining well balanced against the malt base.
