Pours pitch black color with a small brown head that faded slowly and left minimal spotty lacing. Aroma is a complex mix of dark chocolate, vanilla, cocoa powder, nuts, smoked malts, charred wood and cinnamon. Taste follows suit with the additions of brown sugar, maple syrup, burnt coffee grinds, soy sauce and peppery spices. Almost too sweet but the alcohol burn rights the ship and makes for a hearty complex stout. Really tasty.
