This Kentucky style common ale is inspired by the Plantation Tea found in Hawaii. Aloha Miami was brewed in collaboration with Inu Island Ales and is an easy-drinking, sour brown ale with a slight sweet and tart profile in infused with fresh pineapples.

On tap at Row 34 in Boston, MA.

This one pours a dark-ish brown, with a small head and not much lacing.

This smells like lemon, sour pineapple, light tea, and bready malt.

This works fairly well, with a moderate sour pineapple character. It’s not the fruit bomb one would expect from J. Wakefield. There’s a very light tea flavor, and a fairly generic bready brown ale malt character.

This is light bodied, crisp, and mostly clean, with a good level of drinkability.

This is not one of the brewery’s best- it’s pretty simple. It’s still fairly enjoyable though.
