Pour is used motor oil black with a loud fizzy mocha blanket that quickly dies to nothing.
Smell features a mildly roasted malt and coffee with dusty cinnamon contributing a dash of red fruit behind a touch of vanilla.
The cinnamon really does come through here still, in both aroma and flavor, quite potently spicy, while additional flavors of coconut and mocha level it out and make the experience more...I don't know how I can call something with so many ADJUNCTS balanced...but balanced is the word that comes to mind, and it's delish. A substantial barrel presence brings all kinds of vanilla, maple and peppery undertones, as well as a touch of heat. The roasty exhale adds a more savory and down to earth profile, making the taste more enjoyably complex than aroma, as a French toast character emerges with some raisin when it comes to temp.
The body is sticky and viscous, medium to full with a delectably crisp carbonation that swallows semi-dry. There is no boozy burn despite the ABV.
This overall Combiner blend is better than the cinnamon Red Lion Adjunctron, but cinnamon is still a little too dominant here for me.

One of the best stouts I've had. Starts with spiciness and then a hit of cinnamon. Good sweetness profile with tastes of fruit, chocholate, coconut, caramel, and vanilla. You can taste the bourbon and high ABV, but drinks very smoothly with great mouthfeel and thickness. One of the best.
