Canned 7/13/20
Pours a med foamy frothy head with moderate retention, soapy lacing, hazy cloudy opaque burnt-orange color
Nose big citrus and some tropical fruits, I think lactose or just lots of flaked proteins, grainy doughy malt, some water softening minerals, lots of pith, tangerine, grapefruit, papaya, pineapple, light brochet like pastry-caramelized honey
Taste brings sweet doughy cracker malts, with again lots of citrus and tropical, pineapple but a sweetened candied pineapple, honey and honey covered tangerine, a little peachy stone fruit, little grapefruit, lots of pith and some rind, light perfumey alcohol, more flaked proteins, some honey and again brochet like caramelized honey, light bitterness, and some water softening minerals, very sweet, mild sticky finish, a bit drier, more alcohol notes, and yet somehow a bit astringent
Mouth is med to fuller bod, med frothy carb, light warming alcohol, a little astringent
Overall not sure I really like this, the hops were decent, but overall waaaaaay too sweet, a bit astringent, too much on the minerals, wasn't really a base theme of the beer as it seemed to go all over the place at the same time, just not that enjoyable

My first stab from this south Florida brewery.Pours into a stemmed glass a deep milky/hazy burnt orange with a creamy-like one finger head atop.Sweet citrus notes in the nose, lightly alcoholic,a sweet honey citrus bomb it smells like.Creamy and smooth as all get out in the mouth, almost seems nitro in nature.Juicy and fruit with very little bitterness on the palate, the honey does come thru in the finish giving that slight sweet funk lingering for a second.Although I have grown a little tired of the style this has some nuances that stand out, well made.
