Had on tap. Brown hints in a viscous black body, brown ring. Aromas of apple brandy is strong, peppers, oak, cinnamon and vanilla. Kind of a mess in the taste: hot apple brandy clashes with peppers, oak and casia do too. Chocolate and vanilla are faint in comparison to all of this. Feel is hot, thin for style, sticky, and spiced lightly. Not sure what the appeal of these barrels was to this base stout, don't seem to be a good match
