Notes:
The Death Star series has been a fun ongoing collaboration with our friends at Equilibrium Brewing! This BA version of our first brewed batch in Miami was aged in Pinhook Rye barrels for 10 months, then we added marshmallows, toasted coconut, raw coconut and Mostra’s Kinetic Blend Coffee.

Pours very dark and thick, impervious to light, no head. Rich aromas of chocolate, vanilla, and coconut with bourbon aged wood in the background. Flavor is decadent milk chocolate, it’s like adult chocolate milk. Rich and creamy, more vanilla and light coconut cream with a bourbon cream finish. A gentle coffee flavor pervades throughout. Thick and viscous with minimal carbonation; quite chewy. Overall a delicious barrel aged stout, glad I bought a few.
