Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt with light roasted malt is quite nice and enticing. Taste is a good mix between some light sweet creamy black chocolate notes with some light roasted malt with some light sweet residual sugar notes. Body is full with creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Solid imperial stout with nice emphasis on chocolate malt notes.

I will start by saying I believe my friend @byronic may have been too kind to this beer.
Off the pour this beer looks good. Black in color with a thin pinky of head. This breaks leaving a few wisps and the smallest amount of lacing.
The smell is, well it's basically like rubbing alcohol but milder. There isn't much else there.
The taste is also boozy/rubbing alcohol but it is not super boozy, more like a watered down cocktail at a Caribbean resort. The flavor fades incredibly fast, leaving you with a rum and cigarettes taste.
The feel is incredibly thin. Much thinner than one would expect from a RIS. There is minimal carbonation, and it is watery.
Well, the best advice I can give on this beer is to run and hide from it, like the Romanovs did during the Russian revolution.

Pours black with a little bit of bubbly off white head. Not much on the nose but a hint of barrel. Unfortunately the best way to describe the flavour is watered down rum. Similar to that last bit of rum and coke after all the ice cubes have melted. Incredibly thin for a stout, never mind a Russian Imperial. The finish is quick and clean.
Not a very good example of the style and should be listed as a stout at best. Very disappointing experience that I won't revisit.
