Pours a nice clear pinkish red with a nice amount of head, which breaks relatively quickly, but leaves little behind.
Smell is brett dominated, with touches of the fruity elderberry coming in after that initial punch.
Taste is brett, and then those elderberries, but it is not a great flavor and it fades quickly.
Feel is extremely thin for a Saison, and there is a very watery feel/finish to this one.
Not a great brew. Missing the barrel, too thin and just not a good blend of flavors. The funk is all you get from this beer and then it fades into nothing.
