On tap at Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Pours a hazy copper with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thick swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, earth, pine needle, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, earth, pine needle, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but the hop characteristics come through slightly better in the smell to me.
Serving type: on tap.
