Together with some of our favorite humans, Urban Roots Brewing of Sacramento, we present this luscious imperial oatmeal porter. Aged in Willett bourbon barrels for 14 months, its like a rich, oaky hug from all of us to you.

Outstanding imperial porter. Just a bit of vanilla to soften the dark chocolate, maple and bit of currant / dark berry aftertaste -- just the right amount of oak as well. Hats off to the brewmaster on the balance of this beer. Alcohol high but would not know. This is the Porter for those of you who are big Imperial Stout fans. This HAS to be on your list if you appreciate the full-flavored Porters and Stouts.

16oz can poured into a 9oz snifter.

Black with a creamy off white head that mostly diminishes, some lacing.

Nose is mostly cask wood/oak with some anise,

Flavor is vanilla, milk choclate, oak and anise

Overall, this is a very good beer worth trying. I'm very happy to see Three Weaver's brewing and canning a beer like this.
