Clear golden yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Saxo tulip. Light body with a pleasant sudsy mouthfeel. Aroma is robust honeydew melon with a cucumber nose. The flavor is green melon and a hint of passion fruit. Light and elegant and extremely drinkable.
Maybe this is another alternative to the hoppy Pilsner and Lager styles. The wheat is a decent base flavor and just that zing of fragrant hops lifts it to another level. The Cashmere works really well in this batch, so I wonder if we will see some experiments to see what other single hops will give legs to a nondescript category of beer. From the 16 oz can purchased at the beer store in San Diego.
