I am trying a pint of this beer off the tapper at The Beer Hunter in LA Quinta, CA. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with bitter pineapple and apricot presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Great with food, for washing down a sandwich, a burger, or a slice of pizza.

Purchased in pint-size cans, canned mid-December 2023, consumed about a month later. Purchased cold; I'm not certain but probably stored cold.

This reminds me of a tropical IPA I once tried at SNBC in Chico on draft. Very easy to drink, not overbearing, refreshing and pleasant. What's not to like?

The printing on the bottom of the can reads "Breakfast of Champs," which seems pretty apt to me. It could be a tasty breakfast beer... I'll have to try it with some bacon and eggs or something.

Pours a hazy golden straw with a finger of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of pineapple and orange. Taste follows nose.

Canned on 3/9/23. Poured into a tulip.

Smell - malt, faint citrus, fruit
Taste - citra but not agressive, mellowed and rounded out by the El Dorado and Comet. Malt not overwhelmed by hops.
Appearance - slight haze, golden tone. White irregular lacing.
Feel - goes right down

Sort of like a session IPA. I might buy this again.
