Undated can; drank 3/5/24 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly see-through dull yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge white head; frothy tree-rung lacing remained.
Bran flakes & mild smoke notes in the nose.
Bran flakes & faint smoke flavors up front; mild lemon notes on the finish.
An odd flavor, and the old masters of Pilsen likely wouldn't approve...but it's drinkable in a pinch.

Floral, bitter, and with no detectable malty-ness, I cannot say I agree with this beer being labeled a pilsner.
If you slid me one of these and told me it was an IPA (and on the house), I would be totally satisfied. But paying for a pils and getting this particular brew doesnt sit right with me. Maybe the brewmasters made this on accident out of force of habit having made 9 billion gallons of pale ale to date.
If IPAs are your thing (I'll pass) this is a serviceable offering with a great pale color and a fine smooth head.
But if you want the beer on the label, I'd grab a Dovetail or Pulaski Pils.

Nov. ‘19 draft: 4
Crisp, flavorful, hoppy. Clean, would drink again.
2020 Can 6/20/20: a:4 s:3.5 t:3.25 m:3 d:3
Bright and effervescent, ample foam.
Aroma is a little off, sort of solventy, crackery malt. Taste is odd, numbing with a caramel malt note. Odd envelope glue, vegetal, odd sweetness. No sign of the Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic on the label.
Something isn’t right with this, will try to revisit the next batch. Thanks to Lee for this one!
