A nice change from the sweeter IPAs that I have been having lately-love the bitter mango/grapefruit bite. Would have again.

Way over carbonated in my opinion. Again, Destihl is doing some fantastic and highly enjoyable sours. But everything else I've had is way off.

Mango is minimal but good. Better as it warms

On tap at Brasserie V in Madison, Wisconsin.
A- Clear lighter orange body. Half finger white head with minimal retention time. Nice lacing. [3.75]
S- Citrus, pine, lemon, caramel, hints of tropical fruit. Not as much mango as expected, but it certainly does not overpower a nice hoppy base beer. [3.75]
F- Citrus, lemon, squeezed oranges, slightly grainy pale malt, caramel, followed by a mildly sweet mango juice flavour finished by a slightly resinous pine hop bite. Decently executed, would have liked a bit more mango here. As it stands, the mango complements the aromatic hops well enough. It's a bit astringent, but it works well enough. [3.75]
M- On the thinner side of medium bodied, a bit stickier than typical, slightly resinous, not particularly dry. A bit on the lower end of carbonation. Finish is mango and pine. [3.25]
O- Interesting IPA that seems like something out of Florida, but in a sense it delivers what it promises. The mango addition is balanced with the hops and the malts well enough that the overall picture works. [3.75]
Final score: 3.70
