16oz can. Bottom date stamp reads 'canned on 11/08/23'.
Black colored body, with red mahogany back lit edge. Thin tan head which becomes a surface storm and thin ring. No lacing but a film is left behind.
Aroma of sweetened dark roasted malts, with other smells of cinnamon and chocolate. Barrel aged with oak.
Taste is a mix of dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, cinnamon, and the barrel aging - dark fruit and oak. Mellow aftertaste of sweet dark roasted chocolate malts. Effect of the chiles is subtle but earthy.
Medium mouth feel, with a stickiness and also a drying finish (higher ABV%). Sweet rather than a burn. Supportive carbonation.
Bourbon infused dark roasted malts with dark chocolate and cinnamon, so easy to drink.

Good head production; mediocre retention.
Cinnamon is strong on the nose, far outpacing the stout base, peppers, and chocolate. Additional notes of cream and caramel, but the cinnamon is a bit overpowering. Hopefully, this is not a trend that translates to the palate.
Cinnamon is not quite as dominant on the palate, but at the same time, nothing else really stands out, resulting in a similar effect. I pick up very little of the chilies, and the bourbon is complementary at best. Chocolate is noticeable and pleasant. Additional notes of cream, toffee, and caramel.
This beer is disappointing, in that I had very high expectations, and it simply could not meet them. It's tasty for sure, but I feel that Destihl set the bar very high for themselves, incorporating multiple ingredients and techniques, and most of them simply don't come through in the finished product.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, chocolate, chilies, vanilla, bourbon and toffee. Nice spicy chilie taste with dark chocolate, vanilla, charred oak and bourbon flavors.

16 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 11/3/21, had 3/25/22.
Pours a dark brown, opaque and thick looking, with a half inch quickly dissipating foamy head and some light, foamy cling. Aromas of cinnamon, chocolate, malt, vanilla, a light earthiness from the chilies. Flavors of cinnamon, chocolate malt, vanilla, chilies on the finish, light bourbon- more as it warms. Get a little heat as it warms, too. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
The cinnamon is the most obvious add- in, but the chilies are sneaky good. The barrels are a little light for Dosvidanya. Very enjoyable.

Canned 11/3/21. Drank 2/25/22
Pour is jet black with a thin, fizzy cinnamon colored head that fades quickly leaving a little ring around the glass.
Nose is soft, oaky, coconut/vanilla bourbon, hint of chilis, cinnamon
Taste is subtle cinnamon, low/mild heat from chilies, roasted malts, chocolate, painted on a backdrop of oaky bourbon vanilla. finishes with a lingering dry fudge. and a hint of heat from chilies.
well made beer, and the 15% ABV is well hidden, too.

Got this for $13, kind of a steep price for a can but hey it's 16 oz of 15% so who can complain? Love the black can, it looks so sleek. I wish more breweries would use a black can because it's definitely more goth. Lovely artwork of a Russian nesting doll, hopefully there are some great flavors nested in this brew. Poured out into my snifter dark brown with a multicolored tan/khaki/brown/rust head. Dissipated quickly. The scent is very inviting. It is warm, like cinnamon toast, or the smell of Grandma's house after she's baked snickerdoodles. There are also hints of vanilla wafting up. OK a taste, and holy o my god, this is really freaking good. It's a wash of cinnamon balanced by some other spices like nutmeg and cloves. In fact this reminds me of my goth phase back in the late '90s, because this tastes like smoking clove cigarettes. It's got that smoothness, that richness of flavor, that special blend that makes it so attractive, so different than an ordinary cigarette, I mean Russian Imperial Stout. As i swallow a gentle wash of heat from the chilis rises up and envelops my mouth. Not too spicy, but just enough to zap me with a small current of electricity. This is the kiss of flavor that seals the deal, and I'm sold. My knees quiver and tremble, my lips shake at every sip, I am won over, I am smitten, I am yours. Bless this brewer, bless this brew, "Dosvidanya" means "Goodbye", but I say "Hello".

Pours jet black with a medium tan head.
Taste is very malty and thick, lots of dark chocolate, cinnamon and a nice chile spice. The bourbon plays very well and the alcohol is well hidden so be careful.
