A - Deep amber with a nice thick head that looks like whipped cream. Good thick walls of lace stick to the 16oz pint glass, and head retention is outstanding. This is a tasty lookin' brew!
S - Floral hops, caramelized sugar, and lots of fruitiness.
T - Very fruity British-syle hop notes... tangerines, peaches, and a small hint of big plump grapes.
M - Dry and finely carbonated. This is luscious and thick, but not heavy in body. Creamy the way that Tetley's or Bodingtons in the "pub can" is creamy.
D - Great session potential! After trying the Bela Imperial Pils I wanted something a little less odd and a little more drinkable with my slab of cedar plank salmon (which was killer by the way!). This is a really solid ESB that gets its lush mouthfeel from the cask. Good stuff!
