Combining the best of two beer styles, dark and wheat, the Lena Dunkelweizen will appeal to both wheat beer and dark beer fans. Light brown in color, medium in body, sweet and malty in flavor, and brewed in the true traditional German style.

Draft at the brewery tap room, quick review from notes.
Dark brown murky dishwater appearance, glassy surface, no lacing.
Aroma was practically nonexistent, odd for a Dunkelweizen.
Taste was flat and one-note, funky and harsh, grainy. Feel was astringent and thin. Pretty bad.
Didn't bother to finish this one, nothing close to a traditional example of the style.
The reviews added prior to the brewery opening in 2015 are clearly shills.

Lovin' this dark colored, smooth, lighter tasting beer. It's a great tasting sample of this German style beer.
