Aroma is orange peel/fruit and pale malts/very grainy. The flavor is fruit/orange peel, big caramel, slightly coarse texture and a nutty malt/mildly sweet/smooth finish.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-golden color with a half a finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a wheat bread smell mixed with a strong showing of grain and orange. Along with these smells comes notes of a yeast smell along with notes of coriander and a bit of banana.
Taste – The taste starts out with wheat bread flavor paired with notes of banana and orange. For the abv, it is rather malty in nature, with the wheat being rather intense. There are other flavors of coriander and a bit of herb present upfront as well, adding a bit of dimension to the wheat. As the taste advances some light chalkiness and a bit of lemon join in, and with more spice and a touch of rye, one is left with a wheaty blond taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to slightly more intense in thickness and chewiness (for the abv.) with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A bit heavy and unbalanced in the wheat, but still not bad. Not really great for the summer style, but may be a better option for the cooler days.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of sweet wheat and banana. Tastes of sweet wheat and some bright fruit, some banana. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

This is a good ale for lunch. Today was a chipotle veggie burger with two divergent sauces: creamed spinach on the artisan roll, and Honey BBQ on the balance of the burger. AweSummer Ale paired well with both, indicating this is a versatile table ale. But it also is refreshing, if that's what you need.

AweSummer Looks barely above average in a wimpy-looking style. Smells are also modest. Tastes are balanced by the correct use of hops. Medium-mouthed, refreshing and cleansing and calming (need to counter the chipotle.) The next AweSummer I, more appropriately, will not have in winter. Cheers !

AweSummer Ale pours a darker golden color with a smaller, long-lasting, lacing head. The aroma is very clean and crisp, with a hint of cream. The flavor is also clean and crisp, sweet, creamy flavors, with a bit of bitterness to end it. Good feel. Overall, very flavourful and full-bodied blonde ale.

So, this is my first beer that I actually had to add to the site. This seasonal has virtually no scent (which I don't consider to be a bad thing... especially for something lightweight). The pour yields a thick though rapidly-dissipating slightly off-white head resting on a refined-honey colored, slightly effervescing ale. Definitely picking up some orange, which (despite my disdain for citrus noted in some of my other reviews) I find quite refreshing since the slight bitterness blends well with the orange peel this is supposed to be brewed with. Just a little rough going down, but this eases up some as I finish the glass. A very nice summer ale... I'll have to get some more.
