Really opaque orange with a fluffy eggshell head leaving layers of lace. It's funny, this is a typical wheat beer appearance, but I have to remind myself this is not a NE IPA, since they have taken center stage using a similar look.
Smell is funky, wet cellar, sewer water, grass rot, with light citrus zest and pepper.
Thankfully, the palate improves with plenty of wheat and yeasty phenols, which are lighter, like mint, with orange and apple.
Mildly bitter, light but fully frothy, semi-dry.
