Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a a snifter glass, this beer draws a slightly cloudy/hazy light to medium golden color with a fluffy looking white head that’s about an inch thick thick when first drawn and served. Settles to a medium sized white ring surrounding the inside of the glass. A bit of lacing. Aromas of some bready malts, some barnyard funk and must along with some yeasty esters followed by a hint berries. The taste follows suit, with bready malts, some barnyard funk and must along with some yeastyness followed by a hint of berry sweetness and tartness. also a bit of floral and citrus hops for a bit of bitterness. A very nice and well balanced flavor profile here. Has a somewhat crisp, smooth, slightly prickly, also slightly creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a slightly dry aftertaste along with some funky, slightly sour and tart flavors that linger nicely.
