Clear amber with short head which quickly dissipates. Crystal and herbal on the nose, with fruit esters and a bit of citrus. Fruit, leaning towards banana, in flavor. For the record, this doesn't fit the style of an esb or mild ale, although Bitter is about as close as you can get with this hard-to-categorize enigma.

Pours a clear brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of sweet malt, tea, hint of caramel malt, citrus hops, and slight floral hops. Fits the style of an a Mild Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, tea, hint of caramel malt, citrus hops, hint of pale malt, and slight floral hops. Overall, weak appearance, decent blend, body, and aroma for a mild.

From a twelve ounce an, this is a ruddy light brown color with a wonderfully deep and foamy head (great lace). The aroma is centered on malt, with a light earthy hop nose. The taste is mostly dry, with a fruit mid-taste and plenty of malt in the finish. It is a straightforward and enjoyable brew. Medium in body and very drinkable.
