About is great as a Radler can get. Up front in the smell and taste is straight on blood orange. Juicy, refreshing, and clean. And the reason I rated so high is because it tastes like natural juice and not overly artificial like so many radlers can be. It also takes the juice route versus the soda route, which is a huge plus for me. In behind it all, you do get the graininess of the beer base along with the carbonation and body. All in all, very well executed Radler.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, fizzy, white head of foam. It smelled of oranges, orange peel and sweet caramel. The orange tasted a bit like Fanta. Sweet and fizzy.

From a can, there is no question that this beer is made with blood orange. It looks, smells, and tastes like serious dark, red, ripe orange. It is a little more like a juice than a beer, even from the pithy, rind-like bitterness. Interesting and tasty, but not much of a beer.
