An American Wheat beer brewed with malted wheat and fruit concentrate added. This beer starts sweet, but finishes with a refreshingly tart smack. It's nature's candy in my hand or can...or beer.

The craft beer scene is full of faux fruit beers. You know these beers because the artificial flavoring makes the beer taste like candy, chapstick, or soda pop. Real fruit means real flavor. We carefully blend this American Wheat Ale with fruit concentrate so as to retain the flavor of the underlying malts, and add an accent of sweet, tart fruitiness. Move to the country, eat a lot of peaches, listen to Lump, and beware of ninjas.

Poured from 22oz bottle into glass. No bottling date information found.
Mostly clear, with a bit of cloudiness. Dark straw colored body. Initial fizzy, one finger head settles down to bubbles and bubble fed ring. A few spots of lacing are left behind.
Lots of wheat in the aroma, with the addition of peach. Quite subtle.
Taste is initially sweet peach and mango, in the background is the sharper wheat. Nice bite at the end but not really tart. The peachy sweetness comes and goes throughout the taste profile. No bitterness.
Thin to medium mouth feel, with a slight coating sensation from the wheat.
True peach tasting wheat ale, that is not too sweet. Very refreshing.

Served on tap in a pint glass

Appearance – The beer is served a golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the brew is massive of a peach and apricot smell mixed with a little bit of wheat and a slightly grainy smell. Along with these aromas comes some light grass and a bit of herb.

Taste- The taste begins very sweet with a whole lot of peach juice sweetness mixed with some lighter flavors of wheat. As the taste advances the wheat gets a little bit stronger , but so too does the wheat with other fruit flavors of apricot and a bit of pear coming to the tongue. In the end a little bit of herb and grass comes to the tongue and one is left with a rather sweet fruity and lightly wheat bread taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the very fruity nature of the brew the feel is rather appropriate and makes it a more refreshing and crisp brew to take down on a warm summer day.

Overall – Not really my cup of tea as it is a bit too sweet for my taste. But with that said the flavors are actually rather nice overall and if you are looking for something sweet and light, then this is a rather nice choice.
