BA now only has 410 in this style that are active (I'm presuming.) The Top Rated list stops at 40. This would be #38 if the rest of your guys would get with the program and rate Fidelinus Sobrado.
Preface: do not drink this refrigerator cold. It much better as it warms.
Sobador opens average; Looks dark and keeps some suds to the end, but clearly has a restrained yeast. Smells open with a burst of banana, but aromatics slide with the first sip. Lates sips Taste better than early sips, a balanced malty brew. Medium to my mouth; once the excessive bubbles to calm.
This is not the product of the Bavarian masters who dominate the style. But, a more active yeast could carry Sabrado into the Top 25, an achievement when the top competition has been brewing this style for seven centuries.
As for my micro-review.... Hercules has 210 brews listed on UnTapped. Of the top 10 mot rated, only 1 is an AIPA. So they clearly are bucking the business plan of North American micros. I would like to try Hercules' saison. In the past two days, I've seen more of Mexico's micros than when I was a tourist in 2016. Is getting an importer is a recipe for sustainable progress?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
