On tap at the brewery. Reminiscent of an export stout but with a couple of defects. Appearance and aroma are on point with lightly roasted malts and mild coffee roast notes. However the taste has a definite umami (earthy mushroom) flavor especially noted in the finish. Also in the mouthfeel this beer is not as dry as others such as Guiness which reduces the finish and the drink ability. Not a terrible beer and it is drinkable but could use some improvement.
