This beer pours a hazy light red color. The head is a half inch in height, and recedes slowly. The aroma is actually quite dank. There is some grapefruit, and some blood orange, and a little pine, but they are all dank. The taste is more bitter than the aroma would suggest, but the base characteristics are still there. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with appropriate carbonation. Overall, like most beers I've tasted from Insight, this one is good, but nothing that cries for me to buy it again.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into an IPA glass.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy amber orange. Moderate amount of bubbles and a solid finger of off white head that settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A juicy and dank hop driven aroma with a scent of citrus and pine. Upfront scent of citrus hops with some grapefruit, orange peel, mango, passion fruit, and lemon with some pineapple. Dank scent of pine resin, cannabis, and grass. Malt hints of caramel, grains and cracker with yeast. A very nice juicy aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and earthy hop dominated taste with notes of citrus and pine. Big juicy citrus hop notes of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, lemon, and passion fruit along with some pineapple. Earthy hop notes of pine resin and grass. Malt notes of caramel, cracker, and grains with some yeast. A pretty good taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very juicy, oily, and drying.

Overall: A really good hop bomb IPA. Big juicy and dank hops with a moderate body.

maybe fresher this would be better. i'm really not sure where this one is going - the look and feel of the beer are pleasant enough, but in terms of what really matters, i think i'm missing something here. reminds me of grapefruit pith more than the peel or fruit - bitter and without the sweetness of the fruit.

not my favorite.

Lives up to its name. Drank on tap from a pint glass. Pours a hazy golden with a slight orange tint and no head. Strong piney hops aroma. Very bitter, not particularly well balanced but still quite enjoyable.

Dankbot pours a copper color with a very small head. Nice hoppy aroma. Big fresh dry hoppy flavors, with a initial sweetness and a bitter and dry aftertaste. Good body and feel. Overall top notch IPA. Good dry and floral IPA.

Have had this both on draft and out of a can, had both last years release and this years. This years version has clicked into a next gear. It lives up to its name completely, will smack you with the aroma and taste. Highly enjoyable for the style, almost a 'wetness' with the dank characteristic.

Unbelievably great. Straight dank hops. Amazing beer that drinks best straight from the can. Aggressive hop aromas welcome you as soon as you crack the can, and the darkest of hop flavors attack from the jump.

Grapefruit aroma, with some dank and earthy notes. Flavor profile is similar, but is quite juicy and with a bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel, dry. Overall, this one is a little more of a standard IPA than the somewhat unique Troll Way, but I enjoy it a little more.
