Aged in Funken City barrels, this beer perfectly blends the sweetness of strawberries and the tartness of rhubarb. It uses a hefeweizen yeast paired with barley and wheat to create the smooth backdrop for the fresh fruit. The nose is immediately sated with sweet strawberry. A bold tartness lies on the first sip, leading the second into a myriad of fruity, tart, sour, mineral goodness. Rhubarb comes through mid-body while strawberry overtones carry throughout.

Poured from 750ml bottle into glass. Vintage 2017.
Very slight cloudiness, pale gold/with orange tint colored body. Fizzy head quickly disappears. No lacing.
Sour lemon smell, with strawberry fruit sweetness, Leather and barnyard funk.
Taste brings forth the tart rhubarb, along with the just slightly sweet strawberry. This one scrapes your teeth. Funk in the nose.
Lip smacking and tart. Totally dry. Mouth feel is a total cleanser. Carbonation appears with each pour, and bubbles continue to rise throughout.
This is a beer that will sweep away any residual prior beer sampling tasting experience, within the session. Very forward balance of fruity sweet strawberry and tart rhubarb. The tart outlasts the sweet.
