12oz can, no date
Pours up orange-amber with a nice pillowy head. Smells and tastes overhopped, just tons of dank vegetal hop notes, onion, dank, garlic, etc. I'm not a big fan of the original DankBot and this is just a big version of it
Good double IPA but.. typical, uninteresting... middling flavors and it's an overdone concept, this is doing nothing to stand-out from the horde.
I'm being overly harsh, this was a tasty dry hopped double, but everything I said above still stands

Appearance: Pours a copper/amber color with a creamy soft off-white head. SRM of 13 exactly. (4.00)
Aroma: Huge aromas just like the original Dankbot of strawberry, peach, melon, mango juice, Lots of cream underneath. A bit of plastic. Tons of strawberry and peach.
Flavor: Huge flavors of strawberry, peach, melon. Lots of cream sweetness in the middle. Plastic strawberry too. Then surprisingly a strong vanilla/peach flower bitterness finishes on the palate to clean it off quite well and be bitter.
Feel: Heavier bodied and relatively good carbonation. Finishes sweet, but also with a relatively strong bitterness. (3.75)
Compared to Odell's Hammer Strength DIPA 5/16/20: Pours a darker bronze color. Stronger aromas and flavors of strawberry, peach, and cream. Also a stronger bitterness. Less citrus and tropical juice flavors.
Overall: This one is just like the Original Dankbot. Huge strawberry & peach with plastic notes. This one is more forthcoming and stronger smack right on the mouth. Boozier, sweeter, but also a pretty strong bitterness that I was not expecting. It finishes quite bitter and among the delicious flavors. If an IPA is going to be boozed up to 8.6%, it better have a balance of bitterness. Most DIPA fall short of that. This one does not. (Final Rating: 4.00 for a DIPA)

Reminiscing of big IIPAs of days gone by. I love this one and wish Insight made it year round. Hits all the right notes tropical, citrus, bitterness, tasty, with the IIPA presence and ABV wherewithal. Good stuff AND dare I say reasonably priced!! Nice work keep it coming.

From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Slightly hazy orange, good head.
Smell: Sweetness, fruity, mild citrus.
Taste: Moderate bitterness, a little bit of alcohol--shows as cherries, then more citrus bitterness in the finish.
Overall: A pretty decent DIPA from Insight, kind of generic old school DIPA style--a little alcohol heat and a fair amount of bitterness. I like old school DIPAs, so good for me!

Mega Dankbot pours a nice dark and rich copper color, with not much head, but lacing. Big bitter aroma. Big bold flavors, very very bitter, very hoppy, big malty base. Good body and feel. Overall, BIG BIG beer, big flavors.
