A dry, pale, West Coast IPA featuring a Simcoe-dominated aromas and flavor with enough Mosaic blueberry to distract your attention. Additions of Citra and El Dorado round out the Mosaic intensities while maintaining a classic West Coast profile.

Impressive west coast style IPA with a big grapefruit/citrus impression up front on the flavor followed by notes of melons, pears and blueberries with a clean supporting malt backbone.

Aroma has some pine to it along with the citrus, melons and blueberries.

Nice tight little bitterness on the finish but not super sharp or biting.

Body is medium with perfect carbonation...

This is very well done. I'm impressed.

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium golden color with a soft white head. SRM of 9. (3.75)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of dank and fruity aromas of grapefruit, tropical melon, guava, and berry. Slightly herbal and very dank. (3.75)

Flavor: The flavor follows with a huge grapefruit, pine flavor. This turns into a dank herbal and slight onion. There's also some tropical berry, guava, melon within the dank middle. Then finishes with a herbal and pine bitterness. Some light caramel malts underneath. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Enough malts to balance out the big bitter profile. Finishes bitter overall though. (3.75)

Compared to Fulton 300 IPA 5/3/21: Pours a lighter color. More grapefruit, herbs, and dank. Less juicy tropical melon/berry. Less mosaic overall. Leans more west-coast.

Overall: A pretty spot-on West-coast IPA. This one has grapefruit and dank, herbs & pine. However, the Mosaic hop also provides a tropical melon/berry aspect. I don't consider Mosaic to be particularly west-coast. But this one has quite a balance of West-Coast and Mosaic qualities. I'd call it a standard west-coast IPA with a Mosaic twist.
