On tap at Tap and Handle in Fort Collins, CO.

This one pours a dark-ish amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like toasted bread, some spicy rye, some nuttiness, and herbal hops.

This is quite good, and a really nice introduction to this brewery. This is quite toasty and really pleasantly complex in the malt department. There’s just the lightest bit of hop character.

This is light bodied, super crisp, and really drinkable.

If I’m ever back in Colorado, I will need to try more from this brewery.

I had this on tap and brought a howler home with me. 6.0 ABV, 25 IBU. Hopped with Magnum and Tradition. Drank 8 days after it was canned, this pours out to a sparkingly clear deep amber, forming a large slightly off white creamy head. Beautiful looking beer. Carbonation is moderate, ~2.5 carbs so. The nose is wonderful...noble hops, bready malt, toasted bread crust, and a clean ferment. No off aromas, no sulfur. The mouthfeel is excellent...smooth and easy to drink with a medium firm body. The taste is exceptional...right up front there is toasted bread crust followed by a smooth malt body and a very smooth mild bitterness, finishing clean and making me want to drink more. Normally, I am not a fan of Oktoberfests/Marzen, but this one is probably the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!
