Pours a deep yellow with a clear transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is crackers, wafers, banana, clove, and spicy hops. It smells sharp. Flavor profile is crackers, wafers, bread, clove, spicy, herbal, and grassy hops. Mouth feel is crisp and refreshing with a medium thickness. Overall, an absolute crusher for sitting out on the porch. Great balance and refreshing.

On tap at Zwei. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of caramel, toasted bread and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with some subtle grass and a nice bitterness.

 

 

L: Clear straw gold color and a creamy medium head with no lacing.

S: Crisp cereal malt, some sweet Apple and bread, a light floral hop presence.

T: Crisp cereal malt, sweet Apple and malt, a very slight floral hop. I wish there was a little bit more of a floral hop bite.

F: Crisp and clean, high carbonation

O: A very nice interpretation of the helles.
