On tap Beer Mongers the other day.
The beer pours a bright golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. However, when I stuck my beak into my glass, I remember thinking "yowsa, this is really good!" There is a huge dank aroma from the hops, which blends in really well with the wheat aroma in this beer. There's considerable underlying tropical fruit as well, making for one extremely attractive aroma profile. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, and amount and intensity of flavor in this beer is very impressive. Mouthfeel is pretty full for a DIPA, and this beer comes across as a much bigger beer than it actually is (I was surprised to learn the abv. was "only" 7%). This beer is pretty well balanced otherwise, for all that's a pretty sizeable hop bomb. The finish is fairly clean (some swirling bitterness from the hops), and there was no heat or bite from the alcohol. So drinkability is pretty good in this beer.
Impressive, and easily the best new IPA made locally that I've had in some time. Delicious stuff and highly recommended.

A Wheat IPA using Mosaic, Citra and Chinook hops.
Growler filled @ The Growler Run ~4 hours ago.
Pours a hazy, golden tan with a foamy, white head, dissipates to a thin film.
Very inviting aroma
Big juicy, citrusy tropical fruit and berry notes upfront in both the smell and taste.
Medium+ body, foamy, average carbonation.
An extremely well done beer. Delicious regardless of if you consider it a hoppy wheat ale, or IPA brewed with wheat. Definitely leaves me wanting to try more from this brewery.
