I had this beer on-tap in an imperial pint glass at Bailey's Taproom in Portland.
Appearance: black with a thin layer of ivory foam that nonetheless leaves a nice lace on the glass.
Smell: sweet aroma with a vanilla component along with a light roast. Not bad, but quite light indeed.
Taste: sweet, roasty and a little caramelly. It almost has a bit of a marshmallow character to it. Kind of odd, but I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a bit sweet but overall a nice beer.
