my first beer from these guys, saved a little long by our host, because it had refermented a bit in the can and gushed like crazy when we opened it, made a huge mess, but once we poured the third or so of the beer that remained post eruption, it was quite enjoyable. hazy and fluffy, the got the name right for sure, very soft, with a slight sweetness to it intermixed with all the dry hopping, maybe some lactose in the mix here, not sure, maybe some cryo hops too, its got that concentrated forward complexion. sweet grapefruit, orange peel, kiwi fruit and ripe melon, juicy for sure. the texture here is even better than the flavor, and even though the explosion has forced some carbonation out of it, its still lively and airy, like drinking a cloud, very wheaty and round and delicate, well suited to all the flavor in here, and still fresh enough even though its been in the fridge awhile. i wish so much of it didnt gush all over the table, but i liked what was left of it. ill look for more from these guys in the future, this was pretty inspiring and unique in a style that is trending more and more samey.

Look- pours a pale golden orange with a 1/2 finger head; leaves sheets of lacing
Nose- pear, grapefruit, honeysuckle with a kind of subtle zing that really brings each individual note into focus, and makes it unlike any NEIPA I've had. Really nice
Taste- follows the nose closely with pear and grapefruit. Also getting some peach and something white wine-like.
Feel- medium-light bodied with medium carb. It leans toward the sweeter side, but there is a bit of bitterness in the finish
Overall- phenomenal NEIPA with an immensely enjoyable nose and unique flavors that work well

What The Fluff? pours a hefe looking light orange. Not ultra cloudy, but still opaque...kind of like Orange Tang. It has a rocky and foamy white head that leaves spotty coverage and great lacing.
Definitely more citrus forward than tropical. Grapefruit and orange dominate over traces of mango, lime , and pine.
Again, the citrus fruits take a stranglehold on the flavors. I'd even say that lime is more prominent before the subtle mango and skin finally come through. And a decent sappy pine finishes it off.
The feel is much more crisp than what seems to be the standard of the style, which I am great ful for. It's refreshing, easy to drink, and has a nice clean bitter end. Not in your face bitter, but pleasant nonetheless.
Overall, I'd say this is a good beer that blends two IPA styles quite well. Even if that is not what Baerlic was going for with this, I enjoy it. Refreshing. Cheers!
