Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a fairly bright chill yellow color some transparency and a small white foamy head softly gliding off to leave some concave lace.
The aroma had some sweet grassy to sweet floral and semi-bitter with some zesty spicy popping pine needles dropping in on a clean cracker malt backbone.
The flavor called on a finetuned bittersweet blend of pine, floral, lemon pith and grassy hop features, pure and semi-oily while displaying a nice clean aftertaste of those hop oils.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a fine sessionability about it. Appropriately carbed as an American IPA and a clean bittersweet to semi-zesty to a touch of oily smoothness in the finish.
Overall, hoping Baerlic stays in distro to Vermont, they're definitely on my radar!

Clear dark brass, thin white foam, light retention and lacing.
Light melon fruits and onion with a pine backdrop.
Flavor follows with a black licorice bite of a finish.
Crisp and sweet at first with an assertive bitterness on the end accompanying a lingering dryness.
Another winner from Baerlic. Cheers.
