Taster at brewery. Pale golden pour with small ring of head. Big grainy aroma and aroma and taste. Mildly sweet, but oily and slick feel. Love this style, and underpresented in the US.

Canned 23 Dec , purchased at New Seasons.
Despite being labeled a Pils, this is closer to a helles. A clear gold with a dense, white head that falls off quickly leaving little lacing this looks solid. The nose is softly grainy, lightly doughy, mildly lemony and with a light sulfur note. The palate opens with a mild bitterness, lightly minty and a little grainy with honey, a snappy, crisp cracker malt character. The mid palate has a little more malt with a lightly toasted cracker note before a mildly bitter finish with mint, earth and a faintly soapy note. Light in body, brilliant and crisp with brisk carbonation, the finish is a little harsh but quite nice overall.
