Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass.Pours a medium to dark coppery amber with a fine, three finger ivory head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly biscuit malt, citrus and piney hops, light mixed citrus and a touch of pine and cinnamon. Flavor is pale and lightly biscuit malt, piney and citrus hops, pine, grapefruit and a touch of tangerine. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid winter warmer that leans to a malty, piney IPA profile. Lots of pine here, particularly in the solidly bitter finish; appropriate for the season. A bit more bitterness than a typical warmer, but suited my palette just fine. ABV is appropriately warming, but well covered. Beautiful color; nicely done.

Thanks to Vurt for this one. 16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. poured a bright, clean, clear dark mahogany color with 3/4 inch of tan head that had very good retention and lacing.
Solid grain at the front of the nose, with a touch of malt sweetness. Some floral and light citrus hops were in the background.
Very similar on the tongue, with a bit of lingering spice on the finish.
The body was, perhaps, a touch thin for the style, but was smooth, even, clean, and had a medium finish that dried out after a few moments.
Drinkability was very good, a perfect brew for this rainy, chilly PNW day.
Overall, a very nice brew. Not average at all. Worth trying if you see it.
