Tap at the Baerlic Barley Pod. Colour is very dark brown with a massive tan head. Nose is lightly toasty with notes of roasted filberts, cocoa powder and oats. Palate is dry lightly sweet and modestly tannic. A burst light bodied coffee and cola bean hit the mid palate as well as a tanginess that is similar to a dark chocolate aftertaste. The finish long, dry and slightly astringent with more roastiness.
