Big Ditch Brewing Co. "Clock Tower Series Watermelon Summer Ale"
12 fl. oz. can coded "MAY/16/2025" and sampled on JAN/01/2026
$2.33 @ Wegmans, Collegeville, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a hazy amber-orange body beneath a short head of white foam. The aroma is loaded with strawberry. Real strawberry, seeds and all. The taste suggests that to be the case as well, and looking at the label it reads "ALE WITH WATERMELON". It's pretty intense but the malt underneath is basic. There's no real bitterness that I can find but it does finish dry. In the mouth it's medium to medium-light in body and crisp. Given the massive amount of real strawberry flavor I'd think that this would be great but it somehow feels a little out of balance, and perhaps a bit heavy handed on the strawberry itself.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
