330ml bottle from Arkadia Foodstore, Gozo, Malta (€3.65):
Quite cloudy amber with orange tinges & a thin, foamy white head that's patchy & bubbly on the surface. Fruity & zesty with more citrus than normal for an English IPA with sweet hops & mango following with the taste. It's lively & sharp with pine hops & grapefruit, decent carbonation & a definite American IPA feel to it, but a good one at least.

I had this beer on-tap in a tumbler at the brewery in Xewkija.
Appearance: medium golden hue with just a little dash of haze and a finger of ivory foam atop.
Smell: light, sweet malt, with kind of a yeasty character. Not too bad.
Taste: moderately sweet with a rather toasty malt character and some earthy hops with some light stone fruit notes. Maybe a bit on the sweet side for the style, but not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: a pretty decent English IPA. A little bit drier and I think this would be super drinkable.

On tap. Keg. Light misty amber.
A mix of earthy and orchard fruit hops with a mild caramel malt and tastes the same. Mid kumquat bitter flavour.
Light carbonation. Slightly dry feel.
Reasonably decent EIPA; a half at the Queen Vic in Valletta.

Hazy dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma has spicy hops, grains and a light oxidation note. Taste is grainy at first, slightly nutty with a woody finish with medium bitterness. Medium body with medium minus carbonation. It's a decent english style IPA with some muddled but nice flavors.

I've drunk a lot of APAs and IPAs in both the UK and USA so to find one in Malta was a surprise and a treat. Excellent, tasty beer with really well balanced, full hop aroma. If you're in Malta then try one, if you see it elsewhere then try one!
