Picked this up on a whim and the quarky label at Craft & Growler in Dallas TX
From the 22oz bomber to my Firestone Walker snifter glass
I actually enjoyed this one quite a bit. Reminded me of Hops on Rye. Big Rye spice and bready notes accompanied with sappy pines and bright orange/tangerine peel. Peppery but rounded out with some green apple and soft peach/apricot. Nice bitter pop to it and alcohol is present but not overbearingly so. Dark amber color with a khaki tan sudsing.
All in all a nice brew, smooth in body with a bit of drying in the finish. Warming to boot.
